A Conference Curator’s life is governed by deadlines, relationships and an innate ability to capture the imagination of the target audience. A Conference Curator will play a large part in attracting relevant speakers, aligning key industry people with their carefully crafted content. He / She will build relationships throughout the event lifecycle – from inception to execution whilst travelling to the event to ensure the Conference flows smoothly, the speakers are looked after, and that the planning process is executed seamlessly in practice.

StageGate Media Group utilises best of breed Database and Direct Marketing CRM techniques to develop strategies for targeted B2B marketing campaigns that drive leads, increase website traffic and maximise customer engagement. In your role you will also manage a team of internal and external List Researchers and liaise with 3rd party designers and media partners to coordinate marketing materials and collateral.
In addition to more traditional marketing responsibilities, you will also work closely with the Business Development team and take on a leading role in managing our CRM system whilst overlooking data capture, segmentation, manipulation and cleansing so as to ensure accurate marketing campaign reporting and analysis.

This position is responsible for researching and engaging CEOs and Managing Partners from prospective service providers to explain the business model and offer them targeted access to a group of motivated buyers who form their target audience. The access is facilitated through three days of interactive pre-scheduled meetings at exclusive event venues. This is a big-ticket sale with packages ranging from $30,000 up to $80,000 depending upon level of participation.
The Sponsorship Sales role involves, but is not limited to, selling conference sponsorships and exhibitions at our high level conferences across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. With a strong portfolio of high quality, targeted events already in place, your goal is to develop strategies and initiatives to ensure ongoing growth of the shows and successfully contribute to new launches.

Blending high level organizational and negotiation skills – StageGate Media Group’s Event Managers are responsible for sourcing suitable event venues, negotiating rates, event administration and logistics, preparation of conference workbooks, speaker administration and coordinating event feedback across a portfolio of events.
Working with senior business leaders, you will use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage Event Speakers, Sponsors, Venues and AV suppliers to ensure a successful event is delivered on time, on spec and to budget.
The role is ideal for a high energy individual with strong project management skills, who can assertively negotiate with a number of stakeholders, multitask and manage multiple events within tight time frames.
